[It's still really incredible. Christa seems... really fragile to him. Not that most things don't seem fragile to him for... reasons. But she's extra small compared to the humans he's usually around. Yeah, he sees kids but he doesn't know any. That would be too much.]

* When he reaches she tenses up, unsure of what will happen until he easily lifts her to sit on his shoulder. She wobbles at first but carefully places her hands on his head to help steady herself since it was vastly different than balancing with 3D Gear.

Laughing quietly, she raises one hand then another in the air. *

I'm taller than everyone now!

[He keeps one arm around her legs to keep her balanced in case she falls, but otherwise he's gonna keep snacking.]

* Looking around for a familiar head of hair but seeing other familiar faces instead, she shakes her head with a sigh.

Folding her hands on top of his head, she rests her chin on the back of her hands but keeps her eyes peeled. *

Afraid not. Well, I see things for once but not what I'm looking for I'm afraid.

But sometimes... you don't want anyone to... see you. So... it can be tough.

[Actually Bertholdt wishes he'd never been as... big as he is, for a very large amount of reasons. He's too shy for his job description.]

She... should turn up soon. Maybe?

But doesn't that just make you lonelier in the end? * Gingerly settles her hands on the sides of his head, tilting it back so she can look at him upside down. * If only we could change places sometimes, huh?

I hope she does. Even if it's been three years it feels like a lifetime where she hasn't left my side really. Even if I'd have to use the restroom in the middle of the night, she was always there before I made it out of our bunks.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed our company together even before...everything. So just hold on to those memories for a little longer, please. * justly touches her forehead to his before pulling away with a somewhat sad yet faint smile. *

And I, her. I've been...alone for so long. It was so strange having someone latch like that. Especially since she- heard about me first before we even met.
